Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Funchal. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth, rocks, and other materials. This includes digging trenches, loading trucks, and performing various construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator safely and efficiently according to job requirements
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine the scope of work
- Use excavator attachments such as buckets, hammers, and grapples as needed
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on job site

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment, preferably excavators
- Valid biometric passport or ability to obtain one
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments for extended periods of time
- Strong understanding of construction principles and techniques
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately

Salary:
Starting salary is $1700 per month with potential for increase based on performance.

Location:
This position is located in Funchal with accommodation provided.
