Executive Chef - Part Time (Oslo, Norway)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, managing kitchen operations and staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Excellent culinary skills with knowledge of international cuisine
- Ability to create menus that are creative, innovative, and use fresh ingredients
- Good understanding of food cost control and inventory management
- Proficient in food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus that meet the highest standards of quality, taste, presentation, and cost control
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including ordering supplies, inventory management, scheduling staff, etc.
- Train, supervise and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and creativity
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards
- Monitor food costs by reviewing inventory levels regularly and adjusting menu items as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this part-time position. We also provide free visa sponsorship for international candidates as well as a complimentary ticket to Oslo.
