Excavator Operator
As an Excavator Operator in Fonvieille, you will be responsible for operating various types of excavators to perform tasks such as digging trenches, grading land, and loading materials. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and productivity of construction projects. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure safe and accurate excavation operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of excavators to perform tasks such as digging trenches, grading land, and loading materials
- Inspect equipment before each use to ensure safety and report any malfunctions or damages
- Follow project plans and instructions from the construction team to accurately complete excavation tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
- Complete daily reports on equipment usage and maintenance
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators in a construction environment
- Valid biometric passport for international travel (if required)
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair of equipment is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills in English or French (depending on project requirements)
- Willingness to work flexible hours if necessary
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month without accommodation. Additional benefits may be provided based on company policy.
