Executive Chef - Malayalee Cuisine (Ar-Ruwais)
We are searching for an experienced Executive Chef specialized in Malayalee cuisine to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating menus, and ensuring the quality and consistency of our dishes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel, preferably with a focus on Malayalee cuisine
- Strong knowledge and passion for Malayalee cuisine and culture
- Ability to manage a diverse team and maintain a positive work environment
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to train and develop staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that reflect the unique flavors of Malayalee cuisine while also catering to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, presentation, and quality control
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary action if necessary
- Monitor food costs and inventory levels to ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions showcasing Malayalee cuisine
