Plasterer


We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for preparing and applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth and even finish. You will also be responsible for repairing existing plaster and ensuring that all work meets quality standards. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in plastering and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and applying sealant
- Mix plaster ingredients according to specific ratios
- Apply plaster evenly using trowels, brushes, or spray guns
- Smooth out rough spots and fill in gaps with additional layers of plaster
- Repair cracks and damaged areas on existing plaster
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Plasterer
- Proven ability to mix and apply different types of plaster effectively
- In-depth knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, methods, and safety procedures used in plastering
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, etc.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Basic English language skills preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
