Indian Chef



We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic and delicious Indian dishes for our restaurant. We are looking for someone with a passion for Indian cuisine and the ability to add their own unique touch to traditional recipes.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes
- Create menu items and daily specials based on seasonal ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to restaurant standards
- Train kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and recipes
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Indian Chef
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to train others
- Excellent time management skills
- Valid work permit for Kenya (if not a Kenyan citizen)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.
