Part-Time English Tutor

As a part-time English tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality English language instruction to students in Faro. You will work closely with students to assess their level of proficiency and develop personalized lesson plans to help them improve their speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Using a variety of teaching methods and materials, you will create an engaging and interactive learning environment that fosters student participation and promotes language fluency.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions with students
- Assessing students' current level of proficiency and identifying areas for improvement
- Creating customized lesson plans based on students' individual needs and goals
- Utilizing a variety of teaching methods and materials to make learning fun and effective
- Providing constructive feedback to help students improve their language skills
- Monitoring student progress and making adjustments to lesson plans as needed
- Collaborating with other tutors or teachers as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in English (C2 level)
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification preferred)
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching English as a second language
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching style to different learning styles
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Passion for education and helping others improve their language skills

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The salary for this position is $1500 per month. Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.
