Part Time Preservation Architect
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Monte-Carlo on a part-time basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a flexible schedule and has a passion for architectural conservation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on historical buildings and structures
- Assessing the condition of historical buildings and identifying necessary preservation measures
- Creating preservation plans and proposals
- Collaborating with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure proper execution of preservation projects
- Conducting inspections during the restoration process to ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Documenting all preservation work for record-keeping purposes
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Knowledge of historical architecture and preservation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary
Preferred:
- Previous experience in architectural conservation or restoration projects
- Familiarity with local building codes and preservation regulations in Monte-Carlo
Salary: 1500$ per month (based on part-time hours)
