Preservation Architect


We are in search of a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Eschen. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and conserving historical buildings and structures, while also ensuring they meet modern safety and accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation measures
- Develop preservation plans that balance the historical significance of the building with modern safety and accessibility requirements
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to oversee restoration projects
- Monitor progress of restoration projects and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and adherence to plans
- Prepare detailed reports on the condition of historical buildings, preservation plans, and restoration progress
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations regarding historic preservation
- Educate clients and community members on the importance of preserving historical buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of historic preservation principles, techniques, materials, and processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Attention to detail and ability to think critically when assessing building conditions and developing restoration plans
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within given timelines

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Location:
The role is based in Eschen but may require travel to different locations for site visits.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is preferred but not required. Knowledge of German or French would be beneficial.
