Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant
Our high-end restaurant in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative menus, managing food purchasing and inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Proven track record of creating successful menus and delivering high-quality dishes
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of different cuisines and cooking techniques
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that cater to our diverse clientele while staying within budgetary constraints
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring quality control at every stage
- Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Constantly seek ways to improve menu offerings, operations, and profitability
Salary: $1300 per month
Location: Lisbon
