Pastry Chef
We are a high-end restaurant located in the beautiful city of Lisbon, seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually stunning desserts, as well as experience in a professional kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a wide variety of desserts, including cakes, pastries, and other baked goods
- Ensure all desserts are presented and served at the highest quality
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise other pastry staff members
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dessert offerings
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- In-depth knowledge of various baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create unique and visually appealing dessert presentations
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
