Entry-Level Dietitian in Aalborg, Denmark
A busy and reputable hospital in Aalborg, Denmark is seeking an Entry-Level Dietitian to join our team. This is a contract position for a recent graduate or someone without prior experience in the field. We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month and provide accommodations for the duration of the contract. We will also assist with obtaining a work visa and provide a free ticket to Denmark. Fluency in English is required, Danish language skills are an asset but not mandatory. This position is open to all nationalities, however, candidates must be legally eligible to work in Denmark.
As an Entry-Level Dietitian, you will work closely with our experienced team of dietitians, physicians, and nurses to provide nutrition therapy to patients with various medical conditions. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized meal plans, educate patients on healthy eating habits, and monitor their progress throughout their hospital stay.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments using patient medical history, laboratory data, and physical examinations
- Develop personalized meal plans based on patient's specific needs and medical condition
- Educate patients on proper nutrition habits and provide resources for healthy eating
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups and adjust meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Stay up-to-date on current research and guidelines related to nutrition therapy
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or eligibility for registration within 6 months of hire
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in English, Danish language skills are an asset but not mandatory
- Legal eligibility to work in Denmark
