Librarian - Hawalli, Kuwait

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and maintaining the library's physical and digital resources. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month and accommodation provided.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in using library management systems and digital resources
- Must have a biometric passport for easy travel within Kuwait

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of the library's collection, including cataloging, shelving, and weeding materials as needed
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries, providing guidance on utilizing library resources effectively
- Plan and conduct educational programs for students to promote literacy and lifelong learning skills
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new programs and services to meet the needs of the community
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the library is providing relevant services to its users
- Manage budget allocations for purchasing new materials and resources for the library
