Part-Time Executive Chef for Kenyan Cuisine in Jerusalem
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Executive Chef to join our team at our restaurant in Jerusalem. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a menu featuring traditional Kenyan dishes that will delight our customers' taste buds. This is a part-time position, perfect for someone looking to supplement their income or with other commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a menu featuring traditional Kenyan cuisine
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality and consistency
- Manage inventory and control costs
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Collaborate with management on menu planning and pricing
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with Kenyan cuisine is highly preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
Salary: 1000$ per month (based on experience)
Location: Jerusalem, Israel (candidates from Kenya preferred)
