Puncher for Metal Fabrication Company in Nakuru, Kenya


A reputable metal fabrication company in Nakuru, Kenya is seeking a skilled Puncher to join their team. This position requires experience in the metal fabrication industry, and preference will be given to Indian candidates. The Puncher will be responsible for punching and shaping metal materials according to specifications provided by the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate punch presses and other machinery to punch holes and shapes into metal materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine punching requirements
- Ensure accuracy of punched holes and shapes through precise measuring techniques
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed for optimal results
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals within set timelines

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Puncher in the metal fabrication industry
- Strong knowledge of punch press operation and metalworking techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials when necessary

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Nakuru, Kenya. However, due to current travel restrictions, preference will be given to local candidates or those who are already residing in Kenya.
