Heavy Equipment Operator

As a heavy equipment operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes to assist in construction projects. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance on the equipment, operating it safely and efficiently, and following project plans and specifications. This is a contract position in Gujrat with a salary of 1200$. We welcome students who are looking to gain experience in the field of heavy equipment operation.

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid heavy equipment operator license and a minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery. You should also have excellent knowledge of safety procedures and be able to read project plans and specifications. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is crucial.

As this is a physically demanding job, you must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds. You should also have good hand-eye coordination and depth perception. Attention to detail is important in order to accurately operate the equipment and complete tasks according to project plans.

In addition to operating the equipment, you will also be responsible for maintaining it. This includes performing routine maintenance checks before each use, greasing moving parts, changing fluids, and conducting minor repairs when necessary. You should have basic mechanical skills and knowledge of different types of heavy machinery.

As this is a contract position, flexibility in scheduling is required. Some projects may require early morning or evening shifts depending on the needs of the project. You must also be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
