Senior Computer Research Scientist

Our cutting-edge research and development team in Faro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Research Scientist to join us full-time. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and analyzing computer algorithms and systems to solve complex problems in various industries. Your work will involve conducting research, developing new technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on computer algorithms and systems
- Design and develop new technologies to solve complex problems
- Analyze data and perform experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of algorithms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions in various industries
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of computer science
- Write reports and present findings to key stakeholders

Requirements:
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Computer Research Scientist
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful algorithms
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python
- Experience with data analysis tools such as R or MATLAB
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Additional Requirements:
- Must have a biometric passport for international travel
- Must be willing to relocate to Faro, Portugal if not already located there
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
