Surveyor Assistant
As a Surveyor Assistant, you will work closely with our team of experienced surveyors to assist in various surveying projects in the city of Alta. Your main responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining survey equipment, collecting data, and assisting with land measurements and calculations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of our experienced surveyors. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is willing to work outdoors and is comfortable with physical labor. Basic knowledge of surveying equipment and techniques is preferred but not required as we are willing to provide on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up and maintaining surveying equipment
- Collect data using various methods, including GPS, total stations, and levels
- Help with land measurements and calculations
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Keep accurate records of data collected
- Conduct site surveys under the guidance of senior surveyors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of surveying equipment and techniques preferred but not required
- Comfortable with working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit for manual labor tasks such as lifting and carrying equipment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
$1100/month

Location:
Alta, Norway (visa sponsorship available for non-Norwegian candidates)
