Junior Surveyor


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Surveyor to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Junior Surveyor, you will work closely with experienced surveyors to assist in conducting land surveys, collecting data and creating accurate maps. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in surveying.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior surveyors in conducting topographic, boundary, and construction surveys
- Collect and analyze data using various surveying equipment such as GPS receivers and total stations
- Create detailed maps and plans using computer software
- Perform quality control checks on collected data to ensure accuracy
- Maintain survey equipment and keep inventory up-to-date
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic surveying principles and techniques
- Familiarity with surveying equipment and software
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical fitness for walking long distances carrying equipment if needed

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $900 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Faroe Islands.

Note:
This job is open to all nationalities, however, the candidate must have their own visa or be eligible to obtain one for work in Faroe Islands. Fresh graduates with no experience are welcome to apply!
