Sous Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant in Odense, Denmark


We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our team at a fine dining restaurant in the charming city of Odense, Denmark. As the Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating for all dishes
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and creative plating skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
- Must be able to legally work in Denmark

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month, based on experience and qualifications.
