We are hiring a Collector to join our team in Osijek, Croatia. As a Collector, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the collection of outstanding debts from customers. Your main duties will include contacting customers via phone or email to discuss payment options, negotiating payment plans, and keeping accurate records of all communication and transactions.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations. A high level of organization and attention to detail is also essential in order to keep track of multiple accounts and payments.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone or email to discuss payment options
- Negotiate payment plans with customers who are unable to pay in full
- Keep accurate records of all communication and transactions
- Monitor overdue accounts and initiate collection actions if necessary
- Work closely with other departments such as sales or customer service to resolve any billing issues or disputes
- Provide regular updates on the status of outstanding debts

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience in collections or customer service is a plus
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in basic computer skills such as data entry and Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
