QA Engineer

Position: QA Engineer
Location: Lisbon, Portugal

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer to join our growing team in Lisbon. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by conducting tests and identifying defects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of software development processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases for software products
- Identify, record, and track defects to resolution
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve issues
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback
- Participate in Agile development processes, including planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g. Selenium, JIRA)
- Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Biometric passport is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
Starting at $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
