Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist


As a Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of structural projects in Porto, Portugal. You will work closely with a team of engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and time constraints. Your expertise in structural design and analysis will be crucial in providing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations and assessments to determine project feasibility
- Develop detailed design plans and calculations for various structural elements including buildings, bridges, and roadways
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, and ETABS to create accurate models for analysis
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Oversee construction activities and provide technical support as needed
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to management
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in structural design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS or similar software
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Salary: $1200 USD per month

This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. However, we offer free visa sponsorship and a one-way ticket to Porto for non-EU candidates.
