Indian Chef - English Speaking (Al-Kuwait)


We are seeking a skilled Indian Chef to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Indian cuisine, while also catering to the preferences of English-speaking customers. Your main duties will include planning menus, ordering supplies, cooking dishes, and maintaining food quality and hygiene standards. You should have a strong knowledge of traditional Indian recipes, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in English. Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and create new dishes that cater to the tastes of English-speaking customers
- Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Prepare and cook dishes according to traditional Indian recipes and methods
- Ensure that all food is presented in an attractive manner
- Monitor food quality and maintain high standards of hygiene
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques
- Collaborate with servers and management to ensure customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning

Requirements:
- Proven working experience as an Indian Chef, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Proficiency in English is essential for communicating with customers and kitchen staff
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, including regional variations and cooking techniques
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining quality standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills
- Relevant culinary degree or certification is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month, based on experience and qualifications.
