English Interpreter for Kenyan Workers in Izhevsk


We are hiring an English Interpreter to work with Kenyan workers in Izhevsk. As an interpreter, you will facilitate communication between the workers and their employers, ensuring that all parties understand each other clearly. This job is suitable for men who are fluent in both English and Russian, and do not require accommodation. Previous interpreting experience is not necessary, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between the Kenyan workers and their employers, facilitating communication in meetings, trainings, and daily work interactions
- Interpret spoken English and Russian accurately and effectively, conveying the tone and meaning of the speaker
- Translate written documents such as manuals or instructions from English to Russian, or vice versa
- Provide cultural guidance to both parties to ensure a smooth working relationship
- Assist with any administrative tasks related to interpretation, such as scheduling meetings or coordinating language resources

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Russian (both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of Kenyan culture and customs preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex information accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and think on your feet
- Flexibility with work schedule as some evening or weekend work may be required

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1700$. Salary may increase based on performance.

Location:
This job is located in Izhevsk. Preference will be given to candidates already residing in the city.
