Architectural Technologist


We are in search of a highly skilled and creative Architectural Technologist to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, planning and construction of various architectural projects. Your role will involve working closely with architects, engineers and other professionals to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with architects to create initial designs and concepts
- Assist with the preparation of detailed technical drawings using computer software or hand-drawing techniques
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for design development
- Research building codes, regulations and standards to ensure compliance
- Prepare project cost estimates and material specifications
- Review and analyze project plans for feasibility, structural integrity and safety
- Communicate with contractors, suppliers and clients throughout the construction process

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in architectural drafting or design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant software programs
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
$1400 per month without accommodation.
