Land Surveyor



We are in need of a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in Svalbard. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and providing accurate measurements and data for various construction and development projects. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys and collect data using various equipment, such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Analyze survey data and create detailed maps, drawings, and reports
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate survey results are obtained
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on site
- Manage survey equipment inventory and maintenance
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in land surveying

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Previous experience in land surveying is preferred but not required
- Proficient in using survey equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills for effectively collaborating with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

This position is located in Svalbard.
