Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant
Our restaurant, located in the vibrant city of St. Petersburg, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our fine dining kitchen team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations and staff, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end or Michelin-starred restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Creative and passionate about creating unique and flavorful dishes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Responsibilities:
- Create menus for lunch, dinner, and special events
- Oversee purchasing and inventory management to ensure high-quality ingredients are consistently available
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a positive work environment
- Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations through proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques
- Collaborate with restaurant management on budgeting and cost control initiatives
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1100 per month. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates if needed.
