Industrial Alpinist
Industrial alpinists, also known as rope access technicians, are responsible for performing various tasks at great heights or in difficult-to-reach areas using specialized climbing and rigging techniques. They work on industrial sites such as power plants, oil rigs, and construction sites, and are trained to safely access and complete tasks in these challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections and maintenance on industrial structures, including bridges, towers, and pipelines
- Installing and repairing equipment and machinery at height
- Conducting painting, welding, and other construction-related tasks at height
- Operating rigging equipment to transport materials to work area
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial alpinism or a related field (climbing or rope access)
- Certification from a recognized training course in industrial alpinism
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with rigging equipment and techniques
- Ability to read safety manuals and understand technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Siauliai (accommodation not provided)
