We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our team in Greenland. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases. Your main duties will include monitoring database performance, performing backups and data recovery, and ensuring data security and integrity. You will also collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement database solutions that meet our company's needs.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of database management systems, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL. You should also have experience with database design, backup and recovery procedures, and data security protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Perform regular backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place
- Ensure data security by implementing access controls and following best practices
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop database solutions that meet business requirements
- Troubleshoot database issues and optimize system performance
- Develop and maintain documentation of databases, including schemas, configurations, and processes
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
- Experience with database design and development
- Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures
- Familiarity with data security protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
