Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing strategies of our hotel in Aalborg. Your main goal will be to drive revenue and increase occupancy by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and online booking platforms. You will also be responsible for creating sales plans, attending industry events, and analyzing market trends to identify new business opportunities. This role is suitable for men with or without prior experience as training will be provided. Visa sponsorship is available for non-EU candidates. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a passion for the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract corporate clients, travel agents, and online booking platforms
- Maintain relationships with existing accounts and actively seek out new business opportunities
- Create sales plans and budgets to meet revenue targets
- Attend industry events such as trade shows and conferences to network and promote the hotel
- Analyze market trends to identify potential business opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and operations to ensure a cohesive approach to sales efforts
- Monitor competitors' pricing strategies and adjust rates accordingly
- Prepare monthly reports on sales performance
- Train and mentor junior members of the sales team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in hotel sales or similar role (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when needed
- Passion for the hospitality industry
