Rental Coordinator (Malayalee/Canadian/Women Preferred)

We are a thriving rental company in Mombasa, seeking a Rental Coordinator to join our team. As a Rental Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the rental process for our clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate rental bookings and reservations for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely responses
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable rental options
- Prepare rental contracts and other necessary documentation
- Manage inventory of available rentals and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes in a professional manner
- Prepare reports on rental activity, revenue, and other key metrics

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in customer service or rentals is a plus
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English, fluency in Malayalam or French (for Canadians) is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of reservation software is desirable
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
