Merchandiser Assistant



We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser Assistant to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Merchandiser Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of merchandising strategies for our company. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month and includes accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Merchandiser in planning and executing merchandising strategies to promote our products
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking as needed
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, products, and competitors
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials for merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback for management review
- Assist with setting up displays and maintaining visual standards in stores
- Ensure accurate pricing and product information is displayed on all merchandise

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred
- Proven experience in retail merchandising or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of retail math, inventory management, and visual merchandising techniques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams
- Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
