Junior Database Administrator

We are seeking a Junior Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Fonvieille. As a Junior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our company's databases. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to gain experience in database management and is eager to learn and grow in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases
- Perform routine database backups and recovery operations
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure data integrity and security
- Create and maintain documentation on database procedures and policies
- Stay updated on industry developments and implement best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL language
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL or Oracle
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
