Preservation Architect
We are in search of a talented and driven Preservation Architect to join our team in Chelyabinsk. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving the historical and cultural value of buildings and structures by designing plans for restoration, renovation, or adaptive reuse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the historical and cultural significance of buildings and structures
- Inspect and assess the current condition of buildings to determine necessary preservation measures
- Design plans for restoration, renovation, or adaptive reuse that comply with local laws and regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper implementation of preservation plans
- Source appropriate materials for repairs or restoration work
- Prepare cost estimates and timelines for preservation projects
- Monitor progress of projects and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality work is being done within budget and timeline constraints
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in preservation architecture or related field
- Strong understanding of historical preservation principles, techniques, and materials
- Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and guidelines related to historic preservation
- Excellent design skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop or other architectural software
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work collaboratively with different teams
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Chelyabinsk (open to Pakistani candidates)
