Accountant
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company in Dar Kulaib. Your main duties will include preparing and analyzing financial reports, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records including ledgers, journals, and bank statements
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of all financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with local accounting laws and regulations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor cash flow activities to ensure sufficient funds are available for business operations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Identify areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial data
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and variances in financial data
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Working Hours: Full-time position (40 hours per week)
