Head Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, including creating new menus and recipes, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and supervising a team of pastry chefs and assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative pastry menus that meet the needs of our diverse clientele
- Manage all aspects of the pastry department, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost management
- Train and supervise a team of pastry chefs and assistants to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health codes and standards
- Collaborate with other culinary teams to create cohesive menus for events or special occasions
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into menu development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- In-depth knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety standards
- Creativity and passion for creating unique pastries that appeal to both the eye and palate
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage)
Salary: $1200 per month
