Entry-Level Slinger in Bungoma, Kenya


As an Entry-Level Slinger in our company, your main responsibility will be to assist the crane operator in lifting and moving heavy materials on construction sites. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the materials are properly secured and balanced on the crane before they are lifted. This position is suitable for freshers and no English language skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the crane operator in loading and unloading materials onto and off of trucks or other vehicles
- Observe and follow all safety regulations on construction sites
- Communicate effectively with the crane operator to ensure proper lifting and movement of materials
- Inspect materials for any damages or defects before they are loaded onto the crane
- Secure materials with ropes, chains, or other equipment to ensure safe transportation
- Check balance of materials on the crane before they are lifted
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all equipment is properly stored at the end of each shift

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Previous experience as a slinger is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of construction site safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
