Database Administrator (Contract, Gujrat)

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Gujrat. As a DBA, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. Your primary duties will include monitoring and maintaining database systems, ensuring data availability and access for users, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Ensure data integrity and security through backups, disaster recovery plans, and access controls
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database design and performance for applications
- Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patches as needed
- Develop and maintain documentation on database configurations, procedures, and policies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with database design principles and query optimization techniques
- Experience with backup/recovery processes and disaster recovery plans
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues in a timely manner

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this contract position.

Location:
This job is located in Gujrat. Relocation assistance may be provided if necessary.
