Mason - Construction Worker (Malayalees and Nepali preferred)
We are seeking skilled and hardworking Masons to join our construction team in El-Ain. As a Mason, you will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and stones to construct walls, partitions, and other structures. You will also be working with various tools and machinery to mix, pour, and spread mortar or plaster. We welcome applicants from the Malayalee and Nepali communities who are looking for job opportunities without requiring English proficiency or prior experience. We also provide free visa sponsorship and airfare for selected candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark building lines on foundations using plumb bobs, levels, or chalk lines
- Lay bricks, blocks, or stones according to blueprints or plans
- Spread mortar onto surfaces using trowels or other hand tools
- Cut or shape bricks using hammers, chisels, or power saws
- Mix mortar using cement mixers or by hand
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb bobs, levels, or string lines
- Clean excess mortar from surfaces after the installation is complete
- Repair cracks or damages in existing masonry structures
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role is an advantage but not required
- Knowledge of different types of bricks, blocks, stones and their uses in construction
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and strength to work with heavy materials such as bricks and stones
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail to ensure precise measurements
- Ability to work at heights while following safety guidelines
- Malayalee or Nepali nationality preferred
