Job Title: Experienced Turner for Precision Machining Company in Gujrat

We are seeking an experienced Turner to join our precision machining company in Gujrat. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathes, grinders, and other precision tools to produce high-quality machined parts. Your expertise in turning techniques and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the strictest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathes, grinders, and other precision tools to perform turning operations on a variety of materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine specifications for machined parts
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Make adjustments to machines as needed to ensure precise measurements and smooth operation
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Turner or similar position in a precision machining environment
- Extensive knowledge of turning techniques and experience working with various materials such as steel, aluminum, and plastics
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise measurements within tight tolerances (0.001 inches)
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise
