Part-Time Turner in Gujrat, Pakistan


We are seeking a skilled part-time Turner to join our team in Gujrat, Pakistan. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathes and other machinery to shape metal pieces into specific shapes. You will also be responsible for inspecting finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficiency in operating lathes and other machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of metal properties and cutting techniques
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery according to production specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machining operations required
- Measure dimensions of finished pieces using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot machinery issues and perform minor repairs when necessary
- Maintain a safe working environment by following company policies and procedures
- Keep accurate records of production data, including materials used, time spent on each job, etc.
