Instrument Technician


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of electronic instruments and control systems used in industrial and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of electronic instruments such as meters, gauges, controllers, and transmitters
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment using diagnostic tools
- Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints to understand complex systems
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex problems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Proficient in reading technical manuals and blueprints
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure calibrators
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work on call and in varying weather conditions

Salary:
Salary for this position is $1000 USD per week.
