Architectural Technologist in Faroe Islands

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in Faroe Islands. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing architectural plans and specifications. Your main goal will be to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety and functionality.

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and models based on project requirements
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and other professionals to design innovative and efficient building solutions
- Conduct site visits to gather information, assess project progress and resolve any issues that may arise
- Analyze building codes, regulations, and zoning restrictions to ensure compliance with local laws
- Utilize computer-aided design software to create 2D and 3D models of building structures
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment needed for construction projects
- Review project plans for accuracy, completeness, feasibility, and practicality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other CAD software
- In-depth knowledge of building materials, construction methods and industry standards
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Danish or Faroese is a plus)

Salary: $1500 per month (with accommodation)
Location: Faroe Islands (own visa required)
