Part-Time Architectural Technologist
Location: Faroe Islands


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of various architectural projects, ensuring that they meet all necessary regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and other team members to develop project plans and designs
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct on-site visits to gather measurements, assess site conditions, and monitor progress of construction projects
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing them with updates throughout the project's development
- Continuously research new materials and construction methods to incorporate into designs

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations related to architecture
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own visa or ability to obtain one for working in the Faroe Islands
