Executive Chef - Fine Dining (Copenhagen, Denmark)


Our upscale restaurant in Copenhagen is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our fine dining kitchen team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious menus, managing food costs and inventory, and leading a team of passionate chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and seasonally-driven menus that showcase the best of locally-sourced ingredients
- Manage food costs and inventory to ensure profitability while maintaining high quality standards
- Train, mentor, and inspire kitchen staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including plating techniques, portion control, and presentation
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth execution of service and address any guest concerns
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of international cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication abilities with both kitchen staff and front-of-house team members
- Ability to handle pressure and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with a passion for constantly evolving menus

Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Certification in food safety/ sanitation
- Proficient in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
