Waiter/Waitress at a Seaside Restaurant in Malindi, Kenya

We are looking for a friendly and customer-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a seaside restaurant in Malindi, Kenya. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. This is a full-time position without accommodation provided, so we are seeking candidates who are currently based in Malindi or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly and accurately
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments using cash or credit card machines
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Assist with setting up tables and preparing for service
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with guests in a positive manner
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds

Salary: $1600 per month plus tips
