Waiter/Waitress - Indian Restaurant

We are hiring a skilled and friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our team at our busy Indian restaurant in Malindi. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position with a monthly salary of $1200.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Present menus and take orders from guests
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism
- Process payments using POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
