Architectural Designer


We are seeking a talented and creative Architectural Designer to join our growing team in Svalbard. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable building designs. This is a part-time position that offers a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and vision for the project
- Create detailed architectural drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Determine the best use of space, materials, lighting, and other factors to create functional and visually appealing designs
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Present design proposals to clients and make necessary revisions based on their feedback
- Work closely with contractors and engineers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly during the construction phase
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and new materials to incorporate into designs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or relevant field
- Proven work experience as an Architectural Designer or similar role
- Excellent skills in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
