Head Chef
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Aarhus. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, including menu creation, ingredient sourcing, food preparation, and kitchen management. Your creativity, leadership abilities, and passion for cooking will be essential in creating a top-notch dining experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design seasonal menus that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Source and order ingredients from reputable suppliers while managing food costs
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of performance and teamwork
- Oversee food preparation to maintain quality standards and consistency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to create a seamless dining experience for guests
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create innovative dishes while also maintaining budget constraints
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
